Why does the iPhone screen turn yellow?

Have you noticed that your iPhone screen has a yellowish tint or does not display colors correctly? Don't rush to assume that the problem is in the screen malfunction. Most likely, the problem lies in the settings!

Turn off the Night Shift feature

Night Shift automatically changes the color temperature of your display to a warmer color to reduce eye strain at night. This is one of the most common reasons why your iPhone screen may appear yellowish.

Method 1 - Open Control Center. Tap the brightness icon and turn off the sun icon.
Method 2 - Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift and disable this feature.

Turn off the light filters

If disabling Night Shift doesn't help, the problem may be with the color filters. You should also disable the "White Point Reduction" function.

To do this, open Settings and go to Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Color Filters and turn them off.

If the problem has not been resolved programmatically, it will most likely require iPhone Screen Replacement.
